Terms & Conditions (Terms of Sale)

1) Stock & availability

We aim to keep our website accurate, but all items are subject to availability. Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept your order once we confirm it by email and payment has cleared.

If an item becomes unavailable after you order (for example due to a stock or edition error), we will contact you and offer either:

  • a revised dispatch date, or

  • a full refund.

2) Dispatch

We aim to dispatch orders as soon as possible. If we anticipate a material delay, we will contact you with an update and you may cancel the order for a full refund.

3) Prices, shipping & tax

  • Prices are shown in GBP (£) unless stated otherwise.

  • Shipping is charged separately and shown at checkout.

  • We are not VAT registered, so VAT is not charged.

  • For international orders, you may need to pay local import VAT, duties, and handling fees. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.

4) Right to cancel (change of mind) & returns

If you are a consumer buying online, you have the right to cancel your order within the statutory cooling-off period. To cancel:

  1. Email support@todayspapers.co with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel.

  2. Return the item in line with the statutory requirements.

Condition of returns: Items must be returned unused and in perfect condition, with protective packaging suitable for fine art prints.

Return postage (change of mind): You pay the cost of return shipping unless we agree otherwise.

Refunds and outbound delivery: When you cancel within the statutory cooling-off period, we refund:

  • the product price, and

  • the cost of standard outbound delivery.
    If you chose an upgraded delivery option, we refund only the standard delivery amount (the difference is non-refundable).

Refunds are processed in line with statutory requirements.

5) Faulty items or damage in transit

Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights. If an item is faulty or arrives damaged, email us as soon as possible with photos of the packaging, the damage, and the shipping label.

Where the item is faulty or damaged, we will cover reasonable return costs (or provide a prepaid return where possible) and offer a replacement (if available) or a refund.

6) Colour & screen variation

We do our best to show prints accurately, but colours can vary due to screen settings, browsers, and lighting. Small variations between on-screen appearance and the physical print are not considered a fault.

7) Payment security & privacy

Payments are processed securely by our payment providers. We do not store full card details. Personal data is handled in line with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR.

8) Use of the website

You agree not to misuse the website, including attempting to access areas without authorisation, interfering with site operation, or using the site unlawfully. If you breach these terms and cause loss to us, you may be responsible for reasonable resulting costs.

9) Title & risk

Ownership of the goods passes to you once the goods are delivered to the address provided. Risk passes on delivery.

If we cannot fulfil your order, we will cancel it and refund you.

10) Artist’s Resale Right (ARR)

Some artworks may be subject to Artist’s Resale Right on qualifying resales involving art market professionals. If ARR applies to a transaction we are involved in, we will comply with the relevant rules and may share necessary sale information with the appropriate collecting society in line with our Privacy Policy.

11) Anti-money laundering (high-value transactions only)

If a purchase meets the legal threshold that requires checks for art market participants, we may need to request identification and carry out customer due diligence before completing the sale. We may also only accept payment from an account in the buyer’s name.

12) Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
